Consultant and Interventional Cardiologist
Dr Sidney Lo MBBS (Hons), FRACP, FCSANZ is a senior interventional cardiologist internationally recognised for expertise in complex coronary intervention and CTO-PCI. He graduated with honours from the University of Sydney and completed advanced cardiology training at Royal North Shore Hospital, followed by an interventional fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center, where he later served as an attending cardiologist and clinical investigator in major trials.
Dr Lo is currently a Senior Staff Cardiologist and Head of Department at Liverpool Hospital, and was previously Director of the Coronary Care Unit, Director of the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratories. He is the clinical lead of the TAVI program. His interests include complex PCI, acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, structural interventions, and cardiogenic shock.
He is Director of the Asia Pacific CTO Club, Convener of EPIC, Associate Director of AICT–Asia PCR, and NSW representative and Secretary of the Interventional Council of CSANZ, with extensive faculty roles at major international cardiology meetings.
