
Dr James Xu MBBS PhD FRACP FCSANZ FACC
Consultant and Interventional Cardiologist
Dr James Xu is an interventional cardiologist specialising in complex and high-risk minimally invasive coronary interventions. He graduated from the University of Sydney Medical School and completed Cardiology training at Liverpool Hospital, followed by a PhD in Medicine at the University of New South Wales.
Dr Xu then undertook advanced fellowship training in Complex High-Risk and Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) interventions at the Sandra Atlas Bass Heart Hospital, Northwell Health, New York, USA.
He is currently a Staff Specialist Cardiologist and Director of the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratories at Liverpool Hospital, and a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at UNSW. Dr Xu is committed to delivering personalised, evidence-based care using the latest advances in Interventional Cardiology.
